Rihana Bokhari

Our premier science subject consultant with diverse experience tutoring both regular and AP science courses. Rihana employs Ivy Admissions’ cutting edge test prep techniques to get students ready for science SAT IIs and AP science exams.

Rihana graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Evolutionary anthropology and Asian Languages and Cultures, with a pre-medical course focus. With a PhD in Integrative Physiology from Texas A&M University, Rihana has a deep understanding of science and research and helps bring scientific concepts to life for the students that she works with. During her PhD Rihana focused on understanding the effects of radiation on biological systems, specifically in reference to space radiation effects, working with NASA to develop cutting edge radiation research techniques. After finishing her degree Rihana is currently completing a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship where she is working to understand rare bone diseases.

Rihana has been an advocate for scientific learning through community outreach. She taught science and health to underprivileged communities around Michigan while also instructing youth science activates at a museum of natural history. Rihana also regularly lectures on the physiological effects of spaceflight to all school aged audiences.
