Sherry graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2017 with an honor in B.S. in Computer Science.
She has also worked as a software engineer, but she discovered her true passion in teaching computer science. During her undergraduate studies, she had taught coding in various organizations such as GirlsWhoCode.
She is currently a Master student at Teachers College, Columbia University pursuing a M.S. in Learning Analytics, hoping to understand more about how data can more effectively create education initiatives. In her spare time, Sherry likes reading and exploring the city.
Sherry has also lived and worked all around the world such as Hong Kong, USA, South Africa, she also speaks fluent Mandarin. With her diverse background and experiences, she loves working with students from all kinds of backgrounds and culture.
As the first in her family to go to college, she is truly passionate about education and genuinely wants her students to succeed. She has taught math and coding from middle school to graduate levels, and she believes anyone can become excellent at any subjects with the right guidance and goals.
