I learned that there are many ways for me to express myself in my personal statements and essays, but that the most important part is to stay true to myself while properly articulating my experiences and beliefs. As a result, I truly think I ended up with acceptances from the places that were a fit for me as a student in the learning environment and as a member in the community.
It provided me with a lot of clarity and guidance in the process! I was able to get answers to questions that went much deeper than a simple Google search. I was also able to understand exactly what my top colleges were looking for and what angles I should take when describing my high school experiences. I was admitted into the University of Texas Austin where I will be attending in the fall!
